Virtualizing Linux on PPC64
Seminar
As PPC64 processors and systems are getting larger, it is more and more useful to run multiple Linux operating systems on a single system. Doing so requires virtualizing the processor and I/O. This presentation will talk about the implementation currently availble on the POWER5 systems, including the new OpenPower systems, as well as the Linux kernel changes that make it all work. Specifically, the talk will cover virtualization of processors, SCSI, Ethernet, and console.
