LCA2005 is located close to the Canberra city center and near a range of accomodation. You can either book accommodation with your registration, or arrange it yourself.

Burgmann College
Burgmann College is the primary accommodation provider for linux.conf.au 2005, and have a number of single-bed rooms with breakfast provided.
Burgmann College is situated in a parkland lakeside setting amid mature trees, lawns and gardens on the campus of the Australian National University. It is within easy walking distance of the Civic Center, the main shopping centre of Canberra with a regular bus running every 30 minutes past the front of the College.

Available from Sunday, 17 April 2005 to Sunday, 24 April 2005.

Canberra Backpackers
Voted 'Best backpackers in Canberra', Canberra Backpackers is within walking distance to the conference, and provides a number of different room options. The have a website at www.canberrabackpackers.net.au, where you can book online.
Other Options
There are a number of other accommodation options nearby (particularly on Northborne Avenue). If you make a booking, make sure it is a suitable distance from Australian National University. You can check locations with the Australian street map service whereis.com.au

Note that the Subaru Rally of Canberra is being held over the same weekend as LCA, and there will be many people visiting Canberra for the race. So we strongly recommend that you book accomodation early to avoid disappointment.
