Paul Fenwick

I'm a professional teacher and presenter, with ten years of experience teaching Computer Science, and about seven years of experience in teaching Perl.

I've given presentations at the Open Source Developers Conference (OSDC 2004 and 2005), the System Administrators conference (SAGE-AU, 2004, 2005 and 2006), and at the Computer Management Group of Australia (CMGA) conference in 2006. At SAGE-AU 2004 my session was voted "Best Overall Tutorial", and at CMGA 2006 I was given a score of 98.2% for presentation effectiveness. The other conferences either do not keep metrics on speaker performance, or have not yet made them available to me.

I've presented at Perl Mongers in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, and Brisbane, and at the Web Standards Group in Melbourne. I gave a few short presentations at the Perl BOF session at LCA 2006. I was MC at Software Freedom Day Melbourne 2006.

Linux Australia members who have seen me present include Jon and Pia, and most likely Jeff (at OSDC last year).
