I'm a Principal Engineer in the Fileserving group at Silicon Graphics in Melbourne. I mostly do Linux kernel development work on the Linux NFS server. I'll be talking about a project the SGI XFS and NFS teams have been doing in collaboration with Andreas Grünbacher of SUSE, to bring full end-to-end native NFSv4 ACLs (which are very similar to Windows ACLs) to XFS and NFS.
