Meetings usually last for approximately two hours and are open to members and non-members alike, all interested parties are welcome to attend. Each meeting usually has:

  • a talk aimed at new Linux users
  • a talk for more experienced Linux users
  • what's new in Linux over the last Month

After the meeting many attendees take a short walk to a local restaurant to have dinner and continue discussions. A list of talk topics is available for anyone who would like to present a talk.

SCLUG is open to anyone who is interested in Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). For example Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, or anything Open Source / Free Software in general. We meet on the first Thursday of the month, at the City of Wollongong Tennis Club in Foley Street, Gwynneville.http://www.sclug.asn.au
